We make moving pictures out of prompts, pixels, and patience.
Sagelion Studio explores what AI video can do for education, art, and communication. Storyboard-to-video, generative visuals, and honest side-by-side tool tests — made carefully, shared openly.
Same prompt, two machines
A studio test from September 2026. We gave the same idea to two video generators to see how each tool shapes the message. Same prompt, very different films.
Linyan kept the idea literal and intact: a cream cat in a navy bow-tie, a cross at the centre, three pom-poms on a sunlit table. OpenArt turned it into mood: soft anime light, a sleeping cat, human hands. Both are useful. The lesson is that the tool shapes the story — which is exactly what we teach.
Our tool: Linyan
The studio runs on Linyan — a text-to-full-video pipeline we built to turn a sentence into a finished short film. Linyan uses the Seedance model, a top-ranking video generation model, for production-grade motion and consistency. Commercial projects through Linyan help underwrite the free seats in our community workshops, so the work pays for the mission.
What the studio does
Storyboard to video
Turn sketches and sequences into short generative films. Good for proofs-of-concept, pitches, and teaching.
Tool comparisons
We test the same prompt across models so you can see the difference before committing time or budget.
Workshop content
Short videos, explainers, and visual assets for our education programmes — made with the same tools we teach.
